The Bishop Barrington Enterprise Group was set up in September 2010 with the aim of helping year 7 pupils to help them make new friends alongside developing new skills over and above what they would normally learn during the school day. In the first few months the group learned sewing machine and glass making skills as well as basic jewellery making.

Over the first year, we have designed and made a much wider range of products which we sell around school and at craft fayres. Consequently many parents and grandparents have become involved in especially in helping the pupils to produce the knitted products. The pupils are now also learning how to run a small business and the on line shop is part of this next stage.
